Tok is such a funny Saint. When he can, he likes to sneak on here and post silly stuff about the family. And now he posted about our food storage so I guess I should update everyone.
We kept our #10 cans of storage items when we transfered but most other stuff we ate or gave away. So now that we are getting settled and into a routine, I am trying to restock the cupboards fairly quickly. Simple basics like tuna, peanut butter, jams, jellies, syrups, Bisquick, etc are on the list but I needed a place to keep track of everything. That is when a friend mentioned the food storage analyzer on Emergency Essentials. I tried it earlier today and wow, I had no idea that we had as much in the #10 cans. WE thought we had about 3 months worth bt the analyzer estimated our supplies at 213 days and that doesn't include the freezer which is currently full of pork, chicken, fish and beef. So we are in good shape on the food front which is a huge relief! The analyzer even has a place to add store items that are unique to your family. For example, we use a lot of jello and jello pudding (due to my recurring neck surgeries- GRRR) so I can input that as food storage.
The other great thing about the Food Storage Analyzer is that it calculates calories, nutritional content and servings. So, I can definitely use it to help with meal portions, balancing nutrition and supplementing our needs.
I highly recommend checking out the Food Storage Analyzer and see how great your food storage really is.
Please let me know what you think of it.

We are settled and mom is trying to update the food
storage for all of us. Even me, Quilla and those pesky cats!!
A friend told mom about this cool new website at some emergency website. Maybe she can post when I am done.
In the meantime, Quilla and I love the fenced yard- we can go out together and chase each other around. But the heat has been really miserable. Luckily it is cooling down so we can enjoy a walk more. Now if only mommy would come play with me. But that silly thing around her neck makes her grouchy.

We are in Maine and enjoying the nice weather
Mom and dad keep tying me out to a tree to potty which isn't a whole lot of fun but at least we are out of the silly camper!
Yellowstone was great and mommy promises to post pictures soon but I did get in trouble for barking at a buffal0 that wanted to play with our car. Mommy was in the car reading and I guess she didn't find it so amusing. She yelled at me and started to move seats and get all nervous but the stupid buffalo wouldn't move. But he didn't hit the car with anything so I didn't get in much trouble.
After Yellowstone we went to this place about a Crazy Horse but I didn't see a horse anywhere. Quilla, Toby, Lily and I all had to stay in the RV while the humans went into some building with pictures and such. BORING!!!
After that we stopped at some place Bek likes - something about Laura books? I can't read much and girly b ooks don't impress me so I hung out while they toured a few buildings and then it was on the road again.
Sunday we pulled into Nana and Grampy's house and now I get to hang out around the house, play outside and b ark at the big giant dog things.
More later

Watson Lake Canada..the sign forest

We stopped at one place that has a path through lots of poles with signs on them. There are tons of them and wow didn't it smell like lots of dogs. But Mommy, Daddy, Chris and Bek had fun looking at the signs and I think Mommy has some pictures to post. Then it was back in the car and more funny creatures to look at.
After a long delay, an update!!
My mommy was very upset that we couldn't find internet access in Canada but 2 nights we simply pulled off the road and slept. I get to sleep on the sofa with Bek unless that white dog, Quilla beats me to it. Lily the cat keeps hiding under Daddy's seat which makes it very difficult to have any fun with her but oh well.
We saw these giant dog things that mommy calls bufffalooo... they are bigger than I am. Bek saw a few deer, and then at one campground we saw a buffaloo right next to the human potties. It was big so I kept my mouth shut! I think it might have been able to stomp me if it wanted.

Mommy had surgery
My mommy left me in a kennel for a week while she went to have surgery. The kennel was fun and there were lots of dogs but I didn't get to play with all of them because I am so large!!!
